Welcome to GILGAL
OASIS RV Park.
We are located between the
magnificent Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan De Fuca in the
quaint city of Sequim. Pronounced "S'kwim" in the native language of the
S' Klallam Tribe, it means "Quiet Waters". Because of its proximity to
the mountains we sit in a rain shadow, and only get 16 inches of
rainfall per year. Many refer to our location as the "banana belt" of
Washington State. In fact - our climate is similar to Provence, France,
the Lavender Capitol of the world. For this reason, we have around 40
lavender farms in the Sequim-Dungeness valley. Gaining recognition from
all over the country, the Lavender Festival is an annual event you will
want to experience.
GILGAL OASIS RV Park is
one of the NEWEST and most modern RV facility on the Olympic Peninsula.
Our park looks south toward the mountains, sitting as an "OASIS" within
our friendly little community. Restaurants, shops, groceries, hardware
and much more are only a comfortable walk or bicycle ride away. The name
"GILGAL" refers to the Biblical location that brought rejoicing, rest
and peace to many - we invite you to experience the same!
